The History of the 53rd (Welsh) Division in the Second World War

Brigadier Barclay paints a very clear picture of this fighting division from the inter-war years through to victory in the west and the years up to 1955. The division saw action from June 1944 in Normandy, the Low Countries and the Ardennes before advancing into Germany in the bitter battle of the Rhineland and Operation Plunder.
