The Luftwaffe in the Polish Campaign Volume II

This volume continues the story of the Luftwaffe campaign in Poland (and see Volume I: Planning) and covers operations from 1 to 5 September 1939.

These were the first operations in war of the most modern air force in the world at the time, and established the ground rules for air/ground support and aerial warfare that are still effective today. Needless to say there is much detail also on air/ground cooperation.

This is an essential book in the library of any student of air warfare.
