It covers the D-Day landings and the subsequent break-out, the advances across the Seine and to Brussels and Antwerp, the advance into Holland (and Operation Market Garden) and subsequent operations complete with tables and appendices.

It serves as a diary and as an aide-memoire of all operations carried out by 21 Army Group and its constituent formations.
