El Alamein: Operation SUPERCHARGE

This report covers the Operation Supercharge part of the Battle of El Alamein - from the night of 2/3 November 1942 to the next day. In this battle the Eighth Army took on the German-Italian forces in North Africa, and eventually beat them. Every aspect of the operation is covered, with detailed descriptions of the tasks of the Eighth Army elements and the actual operations in this exttremely crucial battle.

The narrative covers the battle at all levels - from Army to Regiment in many cases, and also highlights the invaluable contribution of the Commonwealth troops whose presence in the North African campaign was so necessary and so significant.
