Book Description
This is a stand-alone narrative of the methods used by Britain and Germany to provide bombing decoys to deceive bomber crews as to the location of their target. The narrative looks at dummy airfields, camouflage of important sites, German methods in the field, and most importantly examines Operation "Fortitude" - the attempt to convince the Germans that Norway was an invasion target. Well illustrated with many photographs and with a set of invaluable maps of decoy sites and similar deceptions.
