Published by the British Admiralty in 1945, this manual has details of all ammunition and explosive stores in use by the Royal Navy at that time. It also has earlier material which was officially deleted from stores but which remains in the manual as the amendments were applied very gently. It covers everything from small arms ammunition to great shell, as well as pyrotechnics (including star shell and Schermuly rockets) and is illustrated with 40 full colour plates, many of which are A3 size. Well worth the money to any collector of ammunition material.
